You remain fully independent: you manage your own clients, set your own prices and working hours, bill your clients directly and, depending on the package, use selected infrastructure or support from Zobrist Intercoiffure.
This model is often referred to as chair rental in a hair salon or workspace rental for self-employed hairdressers. At Zobrist Independent, however, the focus is not simply on renting a chair, but on creating a professional framework for hairdressers who want to work independently in Zurich – with their own clients, prices, billing and entrepreneurial responsibility.

Zobrist Independent is not an employment model. You rent a workspace and run your own hairdressing business independently.
Your own business
- You operate under your own name.
- You have your own business cards, invoices and ideally your own website or social media presence.
- You bring your own clients. Walk-in clients are not assigned by Zobrist Intercoiffure.
- A separate phone number is displayed at the shop window for you as an Independent Partner.
No subordination
- You set your own working hours.
- You set your own prices.
- You decide on holidays, clients and your way of working.
- Zobrist Intercoiffure does not set revenue or performance targets.
Your own entrepreneurial risk
- You bear your own operating costs and collection risk.
- Months with lower turnover are part of your independence.
- Clients pay you directly or according to a clearly agreed collection arrangement.
- You manage your own accounting and are responsible for insurance.
Requirements before starting
- Proof of AHV recognition as a self-employed person.
- Your own professional liability insurance.
- VAT is clearly defined when the contract is signed.
- Your own tools and products are recommended and strengthen your independent appearance.
Important: The Zobrist Independent contractual partner is fully independent. Depending on the package, Zobrist Intercoiffure provides infrastructure and support, but does not manage the Independent Partner's business.

Am I fully independent?
Yes. Zobrist Independent is intended as workspace rental for self-employed hairdressers. Working hours, prices, holidays, clients, invoicing and organisation are your responsibility.
Will I receive walk-in clients from Zobrist Intercoiffure?
No. You bring your own clients and build your own client base. There is no mandatory client allocation by Zobrist Intercoiffure.
Which documents do I need before signing?
Before starting, you need proof of AHV recognition as a self-employed person, your own professional liability insurance and a clear VAT arrangement.
